Publication for Ophir El-Boher's exhibition at Fuller Rosen Gallery

About

I worked with my friend Ophir to design a book to accompany her exhibition at Fuller Rosen Gallery in Portland, OR in early 2020. Sadly in-person viewing of the exhibition was limited due to the outbreak of Covid-19, so the PDF of the publication was made available online to allow more people to experience the works.

The open-source Technic typeface I designed was used throughout the exhibition.

The publication also serves as a guide for the viewer to make their own pieces of clothing using Ophir’s patterns of the exhibited couture. It features photography by Mario Galluci, and the Technic typeface I designed in 2019. Additionally, the typeface was printed onto the pieces in the show, marking the different parts of men’s shirts and pants that were deconstructed to make the raw material for the pieces.
